Written in brief, easy-to-read blocks of text, the information highlights the skills, training, and safety precautions that individuals in these fields need to follow to succeed and survive. Dazzling spreads enhance the visual appeal, while small details, such as the white text, make the graphics pop. Additionally, sidebars scattered throughout the pages include fun and fascinating facts and trivia. Although these selections lack extras and aren't that comprehensive, the allure of the set is the uncommon subject matter and vivid images, which will appeal to reluctant readers and those looking for action-packed career choices. VERDICT Students will eagerly pick up these entertaining volumes.
