After a lot of hard work, Derek Valencia's band is finally touring for its first album, but some of his band mates are finding all the temptations available to rock stars hard to turn down. Violet Davis is a professional minder. She swore she'd never work with another rock star again, but the money is just too good to turn down. Sparks fly between Derek and Violet from the start, but they both bring a lot of baggage to the scene. Violet's experiences in foster care have made her believe she's incapable of loving anyone. Derek's musician father never encouraged his talent, and he is now trying to raise himself up by bringing Derek down. The second book (after You Really Got Me, 2015) in Kelly's Rock Star Romance series works well as a stand-alone. It is steamy, hot, and totally engaging.
