BACK TO CALI • Cody Snow and Wesley Thorp won the California Circuit year-end in just seven rodeos, earning $21,359 a man. At the December Circuit Finals, they won second in one round and set the arena record in another, leaving Red Bluff with $3,488 a man.

AMARILLO TO VEGAS • Stratford, Texas’ Ed Burr and Hugoton, Kansas’ J.D. Robson roped four steers in 43.98 seconds to win $10,540 in the Ariat World Series of Team Roping’s #9.5 qualifier produced by MC3 Ropings in Amarillo, Texas, on Jan. 8, 2023, notching their spot in the world’s richest roping next December early in the season.
